What it does

- This tool formats text only. It does not rename files on your device.
- Input is processed in the browser and is not saved unless you explicitly enable input saving.

- 1Can it format multiple filenames at once?
- Yes. Enter one filename per line to format them in order.
- 2Can it keep extensions?
- Yes. By default it keeps extensions and lowercases them. You can also keep, uppercase, or remove them.
- 3Are filenames sent to the server?
- No. All formatting happens in your browser.
- 4Does it support Japanese filenames?
- Yes. You can keep Japanese text, remove it, use simple romanization, or replace it with file.
- 5What happens with duplicate output names?
- By default duplicates are warned. You can also auto-number them or keep them as-is.
